Welcome Kuusamo/Rovaniemi

Transfer from Kuusamo/Rovaniemi airport to Posio. Installation in your accommodation. Dinner together on the evening of your arrival, where the order of the week's activities will be given.

Husky tour and snowshoeing with a dog

The week begins with the presentation of the dogs and our lifestyle. Time to explain how to drive a team. The trail takes place through lakes and forests. After having a moment of relaxation and hugs with the dogs, then we go for our lunch grills and hot drinks in our Kota.

In the afternoon, time for a snowshoe outing accompanied by a dog. This is an activity where we will favor our dogs who do not run in the team (e.g. retired dogs).

At the end of the day, you return to the accommodation where you can enjoy the sauna to relax.

Riisitunturi National Park

We will explore the frozen tree sculptures called “Tykky” in Riisitunturi. The hike, crossing the boreal forest and overlooking Lake Kitka, will offer us the ideal setting to make the most of this day. It will also be a place for exchange and sharing during the lunch break around the fire, creating a good atmosphere among the guests.

Reindeer farm and options*

Visit and walk with the reindeer. In full immersion with a local breeder, you will be surrounded by reindeer giving them their favorite treats.

Time to say goodbye

Transfer to Kuusamo/Rovaniemi airport. It’s the end of a beautiful week of adventures rich in emotions and memories.

Let's go for our last hike discovering: Frozen waterfalls of Korouoma.

Husky safari and ski hike

Here we go again for a second time for a husky tour. This time, after having already established contact during the first outing, this second excursion will allow you to be more confident with yourself and to enjoy it more.

In the afternoon, we will leave in the middle of the forest on "snowshoe skis". Great sensations and discoveries for this outing.
